This attractive 4 bed villa overlooks the beautiful Seal Beach near Mordogan on the Karaburun Peninsula with the popular Blue Flag Duma Beach nearby. There are superb unspoilt views over the Gulf of Izmir and the water is perfect for swimming and water sports. The beach and grassed area in front of the villa offer plenty of room for sunbathing and enjoying refreshments from the nearby café.

There is a beach café bar popular with young people and the Purple Beach bar restaurant with good food and good music which overlooks its own area of the beach and is open until late.
Mordogan, a pleasant walk away over the headland, is the local fishing and administration centre and has a harbour with beach and a variety of café/bar/restaurants to enjoy. Most shops are available, including an English speaking chemist, doctor, wide range of shops and two supermarkets . There is also a post office and bank with international cash machine available.
The Karaburun Peninsula (almost a separate island) is popular with Turkish and European visitors alike, with many owning holiday homes here. There is no package tourism and the area remains unspoilt. The peninsula is made up of a central mountainous region having fertile valleys and tiny villages and the coastal part has a sprinkling of pretty fishing villages and olive groves. Due to the number of natural springs the peninsula is green and fertile even in mid summer and wildlife, including foxes, wild boar and eagles, is abundant.
This is a stunning and unique part of Turkey offering a perfect area for holiday or, increasingly, year round living. With a low cost of living, a genuine welcome from the locals, and far better weather (having short mild winters and long summers) the temptation to stay is difficult to ignore. If you have to leave then Izmir Airport is just 1hr 20mins away on good roads.
